I am currently doing research on ecommerce stores myself and the first one that comes to mind is Shopify. It targets a global ecommerce market. Creating an account is free thereafter, Shopify charges transaction fees, but it depends on the pricing plan you choose for your store. Example, Shopify offers three pricing plans: Shopify Basic costs $29 per month, with 2.9% + 30¢ per online transaction. The main Shopify plan costs $79 per month, with 2.6% + 30¢ per transaction.

There are quite a number of opportunities on Fiverr right now. If you create an account you have a number of points that you can use to upsell your skills and having those degrees and majors gives you the upper hand. I have also come across a site looking for a freelancer to write about something similar. Site is called Pro blogger.
