How can I get started creating a directory (multi-vendor e-commerce) website for a specific niche?

I want to start with an MVP and add features as it grows. As a non-coder, I want to be able to start on my own. So I thought about using one of the followings: Wordpress with themes and plugins, or a specific directory CMS like BrilliantDirectories and eDirectories, or with other tools. What do you suggest?


Personally I'd consider Wordpress. True it's not built specifically for what you want to do but there are tons of plugins and a lot more maneuverability down the road if you want to start adding on more content, ecommerce, landing pages etc.

I recommend eDirectory. Better then Brilliant Directory. I tried both. eDirectory is way better when it comes to support.
Another option is Wordpress but avoid if you are not a programmer and designers. Goto market with eDirectory is faster. They are also complaint and have a great native APP.
