As a public health physician and executive, Dr. Charlene provided expert advice on health programs across Africa and Asia, served as Deputy Health Commissioner at Baltimore City Health Department, and has provided medical care in nursing homes, hospitals, homeless shelters, clinics, and more.

Dr. Charlene is Board-certified in Preventive Medicine and licensed to practice in MD. She has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and been featured by news outlets such as Yahoo Finance, the Chicago Tribune, and WBAL-TV. She graduated from Princeton and Harvard’s Medical School, and School of Public Health.
