Ryan has over 18 years of experience in financial services. He is Founder & CEO of Finetooth Consulting, which provides transition consulting, outsourced recruiting and succession planning to the industry. Ryan is also Founder of Finetooth Ventures, which provides advice to early stage startups. Previously, he served as an Executive for Associated Securities Corp. and as a Director for First Financial Planners. Ryan began his career in Financial Services when he formed The Swivel Group, which was based in central Texas and operated as a boutique consulting firm geared toward recruiting services for broker-dealers in the wire-house, bank, regional and independent spaces.

Ryan is an Angel Investor and an active volunteer with The Branson Centre and Everwise, where he is currently mentoring a startup law firm and music production company. He serves on the Judging Committee for AngelPool, which is the largest organization of angel investors in the world. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Riskalyze, which has developed a risk tolerance score for investors.
